In an earlier blog post we showed you the motorcycle safety public service announcement that we produced in 2014 for the Florida Department of Transportation and the Center for Urban Transportation Research at the University of South Florida. Here’s a look behind the scenes — a video that shows the team at work during production on the PSA, which depicts a crash between a motorist and a motorcyclist. It was a complex, night shoot that required extensive planning, specialized expertise, and a stunt crew. Post-production work included editing, animation, sound design, and motion graphics.

CROP Creative Media produces motorcycle safety PSA

CROP Creative Media was hired by the Florida Department of Transportation in collaboration with the University of South Florida’s Center for Urban Transportation Research to produce a public safety announcement for motorcyclists. The PSA warns the public about the dangers of excessive speed and the need for caution on our roads. The PSA features a motorcyclist crashing into a car with devastating effects for all involved.

Firehouse Subs Shoot — Behind the Scenes

We were happy to work on a new national commercial for Firehouse Subs – shooting both on location at Fire Rescue Station #16 in St. Augustine, Florida, and here in our own studio at CROP Creative Media. The shoot featured Chris and Robin Sorensen, founders of Firehouse Subs, on camera. Additionally, we filmed the Turkey/Bacon/Ranch sub sandwich looking its most delicious.

Thank you to the fine folks at Firehouse Subs, The Zimmerman Agency, director of photography André Labous, and producer Renee Brust.
